The Vancouver Development Center (VDC) is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The centre is home to some of the best and brightest software developers from around the world. Since opening its doors in September 2007, the VDC has quickly become an intricate part of Microsoft’s global strategy for distributed software development. VDC employees play a key role in architecting systems, developing code, and testing software and systems that are developed by Microsoft and released to global markets. Collectively, VDC employees work on more than 50% of all the products and services offered by Microsoft. Working on a multitude of Microsoft products, across all Microsoft business groups, the VDC is already recognized as a premier Microsoft Development Centre with a direct impact on the millions of Microsoft customers worldwide.
